student ministry

Welcome to the Student Ministry page!   I'm Chandler Key, Associate Pastor for Students and the lovely lady sitting next to me is my wife, Destiny.   We couldn't have a family picture without our faithful companion, Cooper.

We are happy to be part of the FBC family.

During this unusual time of social distancing, I will be bringing a recorded Bible Study lesson on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings using social media.  Be sure to watch for these broadcasts and share with your friends.

No matter where or how we meet - in person or through social media - God's Word does not change.   Until we can meet together again, we will stay in touch to provide tools so that you can keep growing in your faith!

about the student ministry

The First Baptist Church of Natchez Student Ministry seeks to REACH, TEACH, AND EQUIP the next generation of church leaders. All areas of our student ministry emphasize the importance to REACH the lost through intentional service to God. We have two specific times when we TEACH which are Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. We EQUIP the next generation through our Equipping program on Sunday evenings.

Sunday School 9:15

Our students meet for Sunday School on the second floor in the Family Life Center. This meeting time serves the purpose of fellowship, accountability, and growth. We study student specific curriculum across all of our grade and gender specific groups.

Equipping 5:00 -Sunday

Our Equipping program seeks to train leaders in the church. We do this in multiple ways through book studies, Bible study, and missions. This time serves the purpose of preparing the next generation to continue in advancing the Gospel.

Midweek 6:30 - Wednesday

Our Midweek worship is Wednesday on the second floor in the Family Life Center. We spend 45 minutes together in the large room in fellowship and worship. A typical Midweek worship experience begins with 1 song, then a teaching time from God’s Word, and ends with 2 songs. We strive to emphasize the importance of worship in fellowship, singing, and studying.
