A Letter from the FBC CApital Campaign Committee

Over the past year, our Church Construction Committee has prayerfully been hard at work researching, planning, and getting bids to start the renovation of our Church Sanctuary and Family Life Center.  The cost of the project will be $1,200,000.  On January 8, 2025 the plans and the financing of the project were presented to and approved unanimously by our congregation.

The Capital Campaign Committee, with the help of our Church Finance Committee, was able to secure $600,000 of the total construction and renovation costs through money already set aside for capital projects and through excesses from the Church Operating Reserve.  We will need an additional $600,000 to complete the project.

We are asking our church family and friends to invest with both prayers and financial gifts over the next few months to make this renovation a reality.  We have a beautiful Sanctuary and it is our responsibility to take care of the maintenance and remodeling.  Our church has shown generosity time and time again through gifts.  We believe that giving is part of a deeper faith and a closer walk with Christ.

Over the next several weeks you will be hearing more about our church renovation through our services and web presence. We plan to have a special service on April 6, 2025 when final gifts will be received for the project.  We will be receiving gifts for this project beginning now through April 6, 2025.

We ask you to be seeking God’s will in your response to this call for investing in our church’s future.

Sincerely,

First Baptist Church Capital Campaign Committee
