Mr. Derrick Burt is the Director of Music Ministries and is the Worship Leader for FBC. This ministry encompasses several functions which are listed on this page. You are encouraged to prayerfully consider if God can use your talents and gifts to serve Him in one or more of these areas.

Filming and Recording
Regular Sunday morning worship services and special events are filmed to be shown on Facebook and the FBC website. Members of the Broadcast Ministry team serve by operating cameras, managing recorded sound, directing the filming process, and operating equipment to enhance the quality of the recording. Team members are assigned to a rotating schedule.
Sanctuary Lights
Lighting in the Sanctuary is controlled from a workstation in the balcony. Members of the lighting team are trained to work with other members of the production team to utilize lighting to enhance the worship service. Team members are assigned to a rotating schedule.
Sound
Management of the sound system is done from a workstation in the balcony. Team members are trained to control the overall sound mix and to manage individual microphones and devices.
Praise Team
Members of the Praise Team are enlisted by the Director of Music Ministries and lead in special praise songs during worship services.
Praise Band
If your musical talent involves playing a musical instrument, there is a place for you.
